Custom Baffles Imitating Wood

The baffle ceilings were custom-designed to evoke the texture and warmth of real wood, without compromising acoustic performance. Their repeated rhythm introduces order, depth, and balance to common areas—while providing essential noise control above circulation and lounge spaces.

Clouds in Contrast

In collaboration with the ceiling lighting layout, acoustic clouds were distributed in a contrasting dual-tone palette, breaking the monotony of flat ceilings. Their soft curvature and varied shapes provide not just sound absorption, but visual punctuation throughout the space.

Wall Engraving & Diffusers

A mix of wall engraving and acoustic diffusers draws subtle movement across meeting room walls and phone booths. In some areas, fluid lines echo architecture and flow, while in others, engraved geometries reinforce Citibank’s identity through sharp-edged patterns and clean repetition.

This project demonstrates how materials can remain calm, but expressive—how shape, engraving and lighting, when aligned, can elevate silence into design.
