When Diageo set out to shape their Guadalajara headquarters, it wasn’t about just creating another sleek corporate environment. It was about infusing identity, sound, and functionality into every detail — a narrative told not through slogans, but through surfaces, textures, and acoustics. At the center of this design language: INDIGOFF.
The Bar — Engraved Panels as Cultural Memory
The bar area, more than a symbolic gesture, sets the emotional tone of the space. Overhead, INDIGOFF’s engraved ceiling panels mimic the tactile rhythm of traditional cobblestone — a nod to Jalisco’s old streets and timeless cantinas. These aren’t generic textures; they’re the result of custom V-cut engraving, applying the bricks pattern with depth and precision, designed to both absorb sound and evoke place. Here, acoustics don’t fade into the background — they act as cultural punctuation.

Open Work Areas — Floating Clouds of Acoustic Order
In open-plan offices, acoustic clarity often competes with collaborative energy. Diageo’s solution? INDIGOFF’s Clouds series, customized in soft curves that hover above like functional sculptures. These suspended elements aren’t decorative accents; they’re calibrated to shape the sound environment with elegance. In this project, the ceiling’s curved forms incorporate engraved textures that create visual breaks while maintaining acoustic balance — transforming ambient noise into structured rhythm.

Meeting Rooms — Walls That Articulate, Not Just Contain
The meeting rooms bring focus into sharper relief. Walls here are outfitted with wall-mounted acoustic panels, engineered to tune the space for clarity. One standout feature is the use of graphic UV printing across a full panel surface — a vivid agave landscape, interrupted only by a Don Julio truck moving through it. It’s not just an image — it’s high-resolution printing on 12mm PET acoustic panel, keeping sound absorption intact while embedding brand storytelling directly into the architecture.

The Kitchen — Brick-Inspired Warmth with Acoustic Precision
A change of pace happens in the kitchen. While the rest of the office supports performance, this area invites pause. To achieve that, the ceiling integrates brick-pattern engraved panels, subtly referencing traditional fondas while softening the acoustic landscape. The space doesn’t try to be loud or quirky — it’s warm, grounded, and quietly efficient, thanks to INDIGOFF’s ability to make technical precision feel natural.

Silent Rooms — Acoustic Engineering, Studio-Level
Finally, the sanctuary spaces: small rooms where distraction drops out completely. These are built with acoustic walls that borrow from recording studio design, using the Walls series to deliver maximum isolation. There’s no ambient echo, no buzzing fluorescence — just focused stillness. It’s not silence for its own sake; it’s designed clarity, engineered with exacting standards.

Diageo’s Guadalajara office doesn’t rely on noise to express its personality. Instead, it uses sound — and the control of it — to elevate every corner of the workspace. With INDIGOFF, acoustic treatment becomes a form of design literacy: precise, contextual, and deeply integrated.
